Michael has always been interested in the visual. Late to develop speech he drew while his sisters read and chatted!

When he was 8 he convinced his mother to buy him a Spirax A2 sketchbook that was almost as big as himself.

Made numerous copies of work of the great artists have you ever seen the Sistine Chapel in HB pencil?

Studied Fine Art at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology 1978 1980. Tutors included Jan Senbergs and Andrew Sibley. Fellow students included Bruce Armstrong and Stephen Bush.

Raised a family. Worked to pay mortgage. Continued art work.

Annual solo exhibitions from 1996 numbering over 15.

Conducted classes and workshops for all age groups since 1996.

Continues to paint and draw. Honing skills to higher and higher levels.

Michael? work provides joy and pleasure to many.

Gathers prizes and awards.

Looks to paint the elusive perfect painting.
